2019 AGM Update

The Annual General Meeting of the City of Hamilton Eisteddfod Inc was held in November 2019, and it marked the end of another successful Eisteddfod year.

One of the highlights for 2019 has been the introduction of Speech & Drama sections to the Eisteddfod. We received many enthusiastic entries into these sections, and our inaugural Speech & Drama Adjudicator, Mr Doug Van Herpen was impressed at the talent shown in these performances.

We are glad to announce that we will be offering Speech & Drama sections again in 2020. The Committee was pleased to welcome three new committee members at the AGM: Sally Finch, Lisa McDonald and Deb Jones. As our Eisteddfod grows, so does the amount of work that happens behind the scenes – so we’re always grateful for new supporters!

We have a very special project in the works at the moment. In February 2020, the City of Hamilton Eisteddfod Inc. will be offering a workshop for conductors in Hamilton.

After a short break, we look forward to planning the 58th Annual Hamilton Eisteddfod for 2020.
