Dance Event: 24th – 25th July 2021 (Save the date)

The Hamilton Eisteddfod is excited to announce plans for a 2-day dance event this July. The event will allow dancers of all ages to compete in Hamilton once again.

Two Australian Ballet Summer School Scholarships will be awarded at the event, and two special guests will join us from the Australian Ballet:

Amy Harris: Principal Artist of the Australian Ballet
Amy will facilitate an Open Class with competitors on the morning of their competition, and will also adjudicate Classical Dance sections.

Jarryd Madden: Principal Artist of the Australian Ballet
Jarryd will adjudicate Contemporary/Lyrical sections.

Both Amy and Jarryd started their dance careers in regional towns, and we’re delighted to host them here in Hamilton this July.

Saturday 24th July:
Open Class and competition for age groups 12 years and under

Sunday 25th July:
Open Class and competition for age groups 13 years and over
