Competition Dates Modified

After two years without our much-loved competition, we are pleased to confirm that the 58th Annual Hamilton Eisteddfod will go ahead this year, but with a condensed program.

Entries for the 2022 Hamilton Eisteddfod closed earlier this month, and while we are delighted that we can proceed, a drop in entry numbers has meant that the event will occur over a reduced number of days this year.

The revised 2022 Hamilton Eisteddfod dates are:
Music: 7 June – 10 June 2022
Dance: 15 June – 19 June 2022
Speech & Drama: 20 June 2022 (morning session only)

Competitors will be able to perform in the section(s) they entered, as all sections which received entries will go ahead. Running Sheets outlining the daily timetable for the event will be available on the website shortly.

We are grateful for the support and positive response we’ve received for the 2022 Hamilton Eisteddfod. Despite lower numbers, some of our competition sections have filled, and we know there is enthusiasm for a return of performing arts events this year. We thank our donors, sponsors and advertisers for their commitment to the event.
