2020 Hamilton Eisteddfod Cancelled

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, we regret that the Hamilton Eisteddfod will not be held this year.

While this was initially a very challenging decision for the Committee, it became a much more obvious and clear decision as the weeks unfolded.

We have contacted everyone who had already submitted and paid for their entry into the 2020 Hamilton Eisteddfod, to arrange refunds. Fees paid by credit card will be automatically refunded starting this week, and those who paid by other methods have been advised on refund processes. We’ve been in touch with our many advertisers and sponsors regarding their contribution also.

The Committee thanks all of our supporters who have been so understanding at this time. We are heartened that many have chosen to donate their contribution or apply it to next year’s Eisteddfod. As a non-profit competition, we value this support greatly, as it allows us to continue to run a successful and respected competition each year.

While the pandemic may put public performances on hold, we do hope that music and dance can continue to bring enjoyment to you throughout this period.

We look forward to a big, bright Eisteddfod in 2021.
