2020 AGM Update

The Annual General Meeting of the City of Hamilton Eisteddfod Inc was held on 25 November 2020.

The meeting was chaired by former Mayor and current Councillor of the Southern Grampians Shire, Mary-Ann Brown. Mary-Ann thanked the committee for the good work that they put into the Hamilton Eisteddfod every year, and highlighted how important the event is to the local community.

We are fortunate that all our committee members will continue in their roles for 2021.

Although COVID-19 restrictions prevented the 2020 competitions from going ahead, the committee was able to reflect on a very successful Conductor’s Workshop, held in February 2020. You can read more about this workshop here: Conductor’s Workshop a Great Success.

The committee is also excited to be preparing for the 2021 Hamilton Eisteddfod, and we’ve shared more about our initial planning here: 2021 Hamilton Eisteddfod Planning has begun. Any further updates or changes relating to the 2021 competitions will also be published on our website.

We are optimistic about the year ahead, and look forward to hosting the 58th Annual Hamilton Eisteddfod.
